Hello Minor Hockey Families!
As many of you know, Kraft Hockeyville is an exciting honour bestowed upon the hockey hometowns who display their hockey passion in full force. This year, only one team from Alberta has made it to the TOP 4! and it's our hockey friends in Rich Valley. Not only does the winning community get bragging rights and the chance to host an NHL pre-season game, but they also receive a cash prize to upgrade their home arena. This year, Rich Valley really needs and deserves the support of our local hockey families and those all across Alberta.
This year, the Rich Valley Arena was not able to put in ice due to their ice plant no longer functioning. Their kids desperately want to play this would certainly get them back on it. With our own issues this year at the end of the season, I know we can sympathize with them and if we had the chance, I know we'd want the same kind of support and help.
Voting for Kraft Hockeyville opens on March 29 at 12:00 a.m. and closes at 8:30 p.m. on March 30 (Eastern!)
